I was just wondering how the student rush is for Sweeney Todd cause I really want to see it soon, and I just wanted to know what the line is like.

I've only done it 2X but have never had a problem getting standing room or student rush. There were maybe 2 poeple in front of me both times.

I got front mezzaine both times but I moved up to front orchestra during intermission.
I'm going today...again. :) I am anal and usually get there really early, and I've always been first or second in line. I've gotten pretty much every location possible for seating. IT really depends on the month and the day.
I prefer the Standing Room to the seats. They are cheaper the views are GREAT and I like standing up (that, and Sondheim stood next to me at one performance and that was AMAZING!!!)

Thats amazing!!!!! WOW!
There isn't even much of a line. I saw the show last night and I know someone who did student rush and got Orchestra Row G (although on the side). Almost the entire rear mezz was empty, which means that anyone who got seats there was moved up to front mezz.
Basically, you can get there at 7 for an evening show and 1 for a matinee.
I went there yesterday for the matinee. We got to the box office around 12:30 (after a miserable defeat at the Wicked lotto, surprise surprise). We got Row E Orchestra seats on the left. Pretty good view, for $36.50 student rush.
I got student rush about an hour before the show and it was mezzanine row A.
I got there right as they went on sale this evening and got an unobstructed row J seat. The show was amazing as always.

I'm going Thursday for my first time(I'm so excited, I've been wanting to see Micheal Cerveris in something for along time). Thanks for all the posts about the rush at Sweeney.
