You're right, I'm full of lies!
I rewatched the today show performence I taped last friday and her dancing was very good, she seemed to be involved all throughout the number the hardly stood by and just watched, if she did it was for a few seconds and then she danced along with the second group. As for her singing it was okay, but I'm pretty sure it will improve. If there is any blame it was that day's wheather becuase it was very cool and she was wearing just her costume. When she was talking you could definitely tell she was a bit affected by the weather. She sounded better on Regis and Kelly because she was in warm environment and when she hummed "If They Could See Me Now", it actually sounded good. Just my thoughts.

I was at Sweet Charity tonight.
Christina did not limp at all and did some really excellent dancing in several numbers. She does still wear the "golden boots" though and her ankle still looks like it is probably wrapped in there with a lot of gauze.
There were a couple numbers where she sat on the side of the stage and during "Brass Band" she went offstage for a dance break in the middle but all in all she was really doing well and did some excellent high kicks and often came down hard on the ankle and never limped or winced.
I was very impressed by her performance. I like her "character driven" voice much more than the average belt that may be prettier. She really had a stage presence you could feel and danced and sang much better than I was expecting.
The coreography: well it looked at one point like they were doing the chicken dance and I could have sworn the inspiration for another number was Elaine's dancing on Seinfeld.
All in all I enjoyed the show though, and was very impressed by Christina.
Yay Christina!!!
Hey thanks Munk, it was in large part your review (along with tickets being on TDF and wanting to see all the shows) that made me decide to check it out. Christina did not disappoint!
I loved her character voice - i think it works perfectly. I really hope she gets good reviews, she deserves them.
I'm a little bit obsessed with her now.
Absolutely, I hope the critics can see it. There was just something special about the way she carried herself. And her voice was perfect for the character, it had so much character. Of course I've always been much more impressed with the Carol Channing, Gwen Verdon, Carol Channing, Elaine Stritch voices. I see the real posibility of one day Christina being an Angela Lansbury type Broadway star. I can see where some people may not like it, but her acting and dancing were very good.

Munk, I see you changed your avatar to reflect the new obsession very nice.
I should note that in Boston, Charlotte also sat out much of "I'm a Brass Band"
