Since the Broadway failure, it has been re-written a good deal and is being presented in its new form this spring here in Chicago by the Circle Theatre. If things go well with that, I imagine the rights will be available sometime after that.

Posted: 11/13/05 at 5:52pmThey may own the rights, but they aren't necessarily available. For example, MTI (Music Theatre International) owns the rights to several shows that aren't yet available for regional productions (The Producers, the full version of Les Mis, etc.).
