does anyone know who represents the show Sweet Smell licensing rights!!??

I don't think that they'll be released for a little while. Since the Broadway failure, it has been re-written a good deal and is being presented in its new form this spring here in Chicago by the Circle Theatre. If things go well with that, I imagine the rights will be available sometime after that.

thanks. i actually found it on Samuel French... i don't know if that means they license it if they just published the libretto

They may own the rights, but they aren't necessarily available. For example, MTI (Music Theatre International) owns the rights to several shows that aren't yet available for regional productions (The Producers, the full version of Les Mis, etc.).

by the way, have you seen the show? is it (high) school appropiate?
