TABOO

I saw the first preview of TABOO tonight (Tues.)
Had a great time. The cast is fantastic! Really impressed by the score. Some beautiful and very moving moments.

re: re: TABOO

My roomate loved it. He said the audience gave it standing ovations.

re: re: re: re: TABOO

Well, I read the original post. I realized the poster was new. BRAND NEW. Sent a PM to him/her to welcome them to the board and asked if they joined simply to say how much thy loved this show or if they had been reading for a while. NO RESPONSE...NOW OFF LINE!
Rosie, is that you?
PEACE.

Plugging it for Rosie!

Let's hope it is a good show... ANd Rosie!?!?! If you are there and reading this! I would love to meet you! I love you -- you are fabulous. I was supposed to see your show once and got horribly sick and couldn't go. Plugging it for Rosie!

Okay I am butt kissing but one never knows do one!?!?!

re: Plugging it for Rosie!

BOJON, you totally missed the point. This person did not even respond to my first post after theirs, let alone my PM.

People are using these boards to advertise their shows in the guise of "average" theatre fans.
PEACE.

Plugging it for Rosie!

I'm *SHOCKED*!!! *Shocked* I tell you! Shocked that our little innocent SueleenGay would ever suggest such a thing. Now don't start giving people any ideas. Or this will become known as the place for all shills all the time.
Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

re: Plugging it for Rosie!

I am sorry, did you call me "little and innocent"?
PEACE.

Plugging it for Rosie!

I meant that in the nicest most affectionate way. Must have been thrown by your icon. So, are you saying you're not either?
Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

re: re: Plugging it for Rosie!

Hahahaha!!!! You guys make me giggle so much. I should be asleep, but I am up giggling at my computer screen. YOU ARE THE REASON MY PARENTS THINK I AM INSANE!!! And hey new person...welcome! Rosie was there passing stuff out?! Is it just me or is she just waaaay too involved? LOL...every time someone I know goes to anything having to do with Taboo, I hear Rosie is there, passing out t-shirts, buttons, fake tattoos, key rings, her children...anything for publicity, right?

re: re: re: Plugging it for Rosie!

She can send me some free stuff.... If she wants to PM me I will give her my address and she can send me all the Taboo stuff. I will wear it out all the time.

re: re: re: re: Plugging it for Rosie!

"So are you George O'Dowd?"

lol...Not his style. He only responds to the negative, usually in defensive vicious bitchy queen mode. Not very good at taking compliments. I imagine Euan will convey that trait in his interpretation of the character re: re: re: re: Plugging it for Rosie!

To be giving stuff away so early is a concern, was she trying to take the audiences mind of what they just sat through.Still I hope it is good we need some new material on Broadway.

re: TABOO

"To be giving stuff away so early is a concern"

She has been giving stuff away for weeks and has said for a while she would be handing out stuff at previews. Not really a concern....

re: re: TABOO

YAY! I hope these good reviews continue.

How to you pronounce Euan Morton's first name, by the way? It looks cool.

re: re: re: TABOO

What if ThoreauVanGogh2 really IS Rosie? What if Dollypop is in fact Nathan Lane? What if Dollypop and Albin are the same person? What if I'm the Lindbergh baby? Do we really know exactly whom we're talking with? Can we ever really be sure?

See picture at Sueleen's left!
