Good for her. I bet she'd be great. However, I couldn't really see her setting down for a long run in the show. She's still making the most of her IDOL time.

I'm SO happy to hear that. I think I like Tamyra as a person more than Katharine. I bet McPhee is nice, but I just Tamyra more.

Thanks Marc :) While Katherine McPhee is amazingly talented, I'd be more inclined to see the show if Tamyra was involved! I cant't get enough of her. Who else is in the workshop cast?

Posted: 7/19/07 at 5:34pmI wonder how so many people get to hear these demo recordings. I would love to hear this show, it sounds so exciting, and I love the music in Hairspray and Fame Becomes Me! There should be a special section on BWW where you can listen to demos. That would be awesome! I hope this musicals comes quickly!

I hate it for so many reasons... 1. xanadu has already done it now 2 It is such a great story, don't ruin it by making fun of yourselves. 3. The biggest reason is that this is based on a real story. Have some respect for the incredible story of frank abignale jr. I'm sorry this just sounds like it is going to suck. 4. A friend of mine had a copies of a couple of the songs and lets just say hmmmmmmm It's early

How about waiting until the workshop (at least) before dismissing it? Just a suggestion.

Thank you Jimmy, thats the best plan.
I for one think that Tamyra would actually be better than Kat just because she has had more experience after Bombay Dreams and now RENT, in which she has brought so much new heat and emotion to Mimi, so I think getting the chance to create a role would do great for her. I really hope that the workshop goes really good and this cast stays on for the production because I actually think they all will work amazingly well together.
