Do you mean Alex Rutherford? If you do, I hope he renews his contract. He was awsome when I saw Tarzan, and I don't want him to go before I see it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No...Dylan Snyder might not have his contract renewed. As someone posted above, he's grown quite a bit since he first began.

TWSFan4Ever... you stated that you "heard" that Jenn is staying through the summer (and Josh as well). Anyone else that can confirm that or not? And what does "through the summer" mean - August? September? Do you know when that is, exactly?

I saw the matinee performance of Tarzan on Superbowl Sunday, February 4th. I thought it was a gorgeous, wonderful show. I sat in the second row center orchestra, A111. I personally loved the set and costume decisions. I think its refreshing to have a set and costumes that are not exactly realistic (granted, they can't be so) - but they worked so well. I loved all the leads (had no u/s's). My "Young Tarzan" was Alex, and he was absolutely fantastic - moves so well and has a great voice. Chester has great comedic timing and a wonderful voice - it was nice to see his part in action after listening to the cd. Josh embodied the part so well - moving well, mannerisms, emotions, and a gorgeous voice. I already loved Jenn Gamby from All Shook Up and she was an adorable Jane Porter. The one who truly steals the show, though is Merle Dandridge - the emotions that she portrays, her facial expressions, mannerisms, and her beautiful voice just blew me away. Almost all came out after the show too, which was commendable since they had a call in not too long for their evening show. I hope to go again but I can't imagine the show without those leads, especially Josh and Jenn.

broadway_show_fan, most likely until September. Is there anybody that can for sure confirm they're staying? I'm also curious about Merle, she staying?

Just look at Josh's message board....there was something posted on there about it.

As far as Jenn and Merle....I don't know for sure. Everything is word of mouth at this point.

I can confirm that Josh is staying through December cause I heard it from him personally. I don't know about anyone else though. He's the link to his board.

You know, I thought someone on here had said that they thought Jenn was extending (but am now too lazy to go back and reread) so in my message to Merle I said that word on the boards was that Josh and Chester had extended, and people thought that Jenn had extended, but that no one seemed to know about her (as in Merle). She did not correct me about Jenn, so my guess is that she is extending, but of course it could just be that Merle didn't want to make announcements about other people. I'm just glad that Merle, Josh and Chester are staying. Jenn is great, but those guys are my favorites. :)
