Is the TDF membership worth it?
How soon do you get your tickets?
What shows are up their?
About how much is each ticket?
What seats are their?
Could I get tickets to Les Miz, & Phantom on their for like $30 each?
IMO, yes. You pick your tickets up at the theatre. You have to be there an hour before. That's what I've always done. They have some broadway shows, some off-broadway. The list changes everyday. In the past I've bought tickets to Movin' Out, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Wedding Singer, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, etc. Their tickets are usually $33- you don't get to chose your seats, they give you whatever is available. I've never had a problem with my seats. I haven't seen Les Mis or Phantom on their, so my guess is no.

How close to the show can you buy the tickets? Also do they have a list of what have been on their in the past? I'm thinking about getting Phantom & Les miz seats so I'm thinking if they are on their it might be cheaper. I couldn't get Jersey Boys or SA on their could I?

Good luck getting Jersey Boys tickets at all, unless you want to spend upwards of $350.

Is it like TKTS where you get cheap tickets but you can buy them in advance Vs. TKTS which is day of show only?
Also do they have the same still that is up on TKTS?

that thread should help you too.
"What shows are up their?"
"What seats are their?"
"Their" is possessive. Example: "Where are their seats located?"
"There" is the word you want. "What shows are there?"
"Learn this lesson now, my son, and life will take you further. Forget this lesson now, my son, and you'll remain a dumbass."
after my "biology of the sexes" class last semester, I thought you were asking about a Testes Determining Factor membership.
Last time I checked that Broadway shows on TDF are The Apple Tree, Rent, The Producers, Butley, and The Little Dog Laughed. However, It's constantly changing. Yes. A TDF membership is worth it.

That's all that was up for broadway?
Thank you, CapnHook. That's one of my biggest pet peeves. AHH
Also, yes TDF is worth it. Spring Awakening is up there sometimes.

It's like TKTS but you can buy in advance?
Oh my goodness. The madness.
People come on here all the time asking about seat locations, which is fine. But you make constant threads asking basically the same questions over and over and over again.
If you are really that obsessed with seat locations, if you live in or near the city, why don't you just go down to the theater itself and ask at the box office?
Also, with TKTS and TDF, seats vary...if you're getting in the theater at a reduced price, you should be happy to have gotten them...the person next to you may have paid about $50-60 more than you.
whats TDF membership?..and whats the website?
thanks

It's definitely worth it. The best, I think, is that some Broadway shows in previews show up on tdf before reviews-- then don't show up again if the reviews are good and business consistently increases after opening. I saw Drowsy Chaperone front mezz for $35, and it was awesome! I don't think I've ever seen it up again after opening night, though. I also went to opening for Caine Mutiny for $30 or so, which was interesting because I'd never been to an opening night. I've seen Spring Awakening, Martin Short, Light in the Piazza, Sweet Charity, Dirty Rotten Scoundrals, Brooklyn, and passed up on Little Women with it. Not all those shows were great, but the seats have always been very good for the price (sometimes orchestra for $35). I've seen a lot off-Broadway too, and there's even opera and jazz concert offerings sometimes. The recent Rockapella concert looked interesting, even though I didn't go. Do it Rockapella!
