TDF Price Increase

Looks like the July dates for musicals (Bway) went from $45 to $47. It's not clear to me if and how much other prices increased.

BroadwayBox has a code for rear mezz seats for Phantom for $55. so for a few dollars more, you can select the date and time you want to go and not have to choose from a few dates off TDF.

At what point does TDF, which I used to love and now, hardly use, become just another discount site and not worth the annual fee?

Well, that would be up to the individual. I only pay 10 bucks (I live far enough away) so it is still well worth it.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

There's also the chance of getting a better-than-rear-mezz seat thru TDF and even at $47, which is a hell of a lot more than it used to be, is still a great price for a Broadway show.

I'm no stickler on my seat selection (as long as I can see what is happening, I'm good) but in the 6+ years I've used TDF, I can count on one hand the times I've been disappointed with my seats.

So, TDF, if you're reading this... thanks!

As show prices increase, so does TDF. Not to surprising

Still and all it is worth it.

TDF Price Increase

I just checked, and my total cost for Fun Home was $49, and I paid $49.50 for a third row seat to On the Town. I'm still not complaining.

TDF Price Increase

I've only had one seat from TDF with which I was unhappy; like others mentioned, the chance of scoring an orchestra seat or even in some cases a good mezzanine seat is worth it to me.

It's why I sometimes forgo rush in favor of TDF; a lot of the time the seats you'll end up with are better.

Don't forget that TDF is not just a ticket broker. The Theater Development Fund (TDF) is a long-established non-profit organization serving not only productions and audiences, but also the community through a wide variety of outreach programs:
