TDF has service fees, so the price you pay will always be more than the face value of the ticket but you’re usually still getting a substantial discount from what the ticket would be originally. I recently purchased a ticket for The Cher Show on TDF and paid $53 ($49 plus $4 fee). The seat location was orchestra row C, seat 2. The face value printed on the ticket was $44, but I looked on Ticketmaster and that seat is classified as premium so it would be $249 if purchased at the box office or on Tickermaster.
