Posted: 9/17/13 at 12:38amMaybe if they turned it into a musical- the Matilda's I have seen are better when singing than when acting, particularly during the extended monologues. Plus, you have to have some understanding of camp and horror to really milk the saccharine psycho-sweetness of the little girl.
