Anyone that hasn't seen this show must put it on their "MUST SEE" list before it closes, for no other reason than witnessing the magical performance by Katrina Lenk. I could not keep my eyes off of her anytime she was onstage. I have seen the show twice and will see it again before it closes. She is absolutely mesmerizing in the role!!
I’ve glad I’ve already got my ticket for my second trip to Bet Hatikva next Tuesday.

It deserves to be filmed for posterity!
Maybe Broadway HD?
Soooooo glad I had the opportunity to go to NYC and experience this gorgeous work, to be able to meet Katrina Lenk in person, and to buy all the wonderful souvenirs I did. The music will always stay with me, as this was one of my favorite shows from 2018. Hope it comes to Pittsburgh on tour, I’d love to see it again.
A beautiful show, and all involved should be proud of its run and success.
Couldn’t this show move to the New World Stages or the Little Shubert and continue its run off Broadway again?
I can’t say I’m surprised, it was an above meh show in an all around meh season.

It could, but why would it?

I could see it having a decent run off Broadway and plod along at the advantage of lower costs. When I saw it I never thought it was a tourist show and appealed more to the New York midtown crowd, that see off Broadway.

Sad news, such an amazing show. Hard to believe shows of such quality are closing when ****e like Phantom and Cats are in their 100th year.
Hopefully they move it to London asap.
Gorgeous show, congratulations to all involved. I think the tour will be very exciting for all who couldn't make it to NYC.

You can be sad about a show closing without dragging other shows, especially since one that you mentioned isn’t even open.

I love The Band’s Visit too, but just need to clarify. Cats is not currently running on Broadway.

It's still drolling on somewhere in the world...
This show is an absolute gem. Beautiful from top to bottom and one of the best musicals of this century so far. Seriously if you haven't seen this yet, go. Hopefully, it'll make it across the pond and it'll do well on tour. It's also recouped and ran for a year and a half. I'd call that a respectable hit.
Also, the sort of venom thrown at this show on social media, really is unfortunate. Check out the comments on Facebook. The top comment on one said something like "That's what it gets for robbing better shows at the Tonys." I cannot understand the abuse that this show suffers from the "stans."
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful pieces of theatre I've ever witnessed. I am so, so sad

So sad that it’s closing, but so glad I got to experience it. I echo the sentiments of others here - everyone involved with this production should be very proud. It’s definitely something that will stay with me for a long time.
I saw one of the very first previews at the Atlantic, adored it, and at the time only hoped to get a cast recording. The fact that it arrived on Broadway, intimacy and most of the original cast in tact, was quite a feat and its success truly well-deserved. One of my favorite musicals in a very long time. Perhaps of all time, in fact. Cheers to all involved for an incredible show. I'll be visiting a few more times before it closes, for sure.

WOM was certainly this show's friend as well as that of its audience. That said, I have no clue what our posturing troll intended.

This is the first time a show I planned to see is closing just weeks before I arrive. I can see it on tour next spring, but I am a bit bummed.

Don't be bummed; rather, consider yourself lucky that fate intervened on your behalf.
You've been spared an epic bore of a musical and a deadly theatrical experience. There isn't a decent melody in it.
There's a reason the show couldn't even run a year after it won a passel of Tony Awards. Word of mouth told it like it was.
