I think what struck me was that this wasn't a cabaret act but rather a spellbinding, poignant and very funny one man show.
(And perfect for any cable channel if someone from programming is reading.)

Posted: 5/15/06 at 4:19pmjesus christ, that motherf***er is good. he had that audience in the palm of his hand for every beat of that show. if you miss this, if you're anywhere near nyc and do not spend the 20th with the un-f***ing-realistically good robbie maitner then you have missed the event of the season. i haven't enjoyed anything so much with my clothes on since grade school. and i wasn't even drunk!

Might be an interesting night on several levels! You never know who might be sitting in the chair next to you...
