According to playbill, Malcolm Gets and Will Chase will star in the new musical, which will go to Goodspeed before hitting Broadway.

Great casting, I'm very excited!

Might have to see this, if only for these fantastic actors.

as in Goodspeed Theater Company in CT? bec. they have Big River schedule till November 2008 at the Goodspeed Opera House, maybe it will be in Norma Terris Theater?

Probably in Norma Terris Theater. Wow! Good for this Regional Theater, they already had 2 try-out, just this year... "13" and this one " The Story of My Life".

Also "All Shook Up" had its world premiere at Goodspeed!

Didn't he do the show in Toronto or am I confusing this with something else?
Malcolm Gets is fantastic though.

I would love to see Brent Carver again on Broadway, but Brent Carver + Will Chase ~its it just me? or it soo Kiss of the Spiderwoman!? These two guys was invloved with that musical (in different productions) plus a story about a gay and a straight man~that's so deva ju!

The casting is hardly the only reason to see this show. I saw it last year (with Will and Jeffrey Kuhn) and it's fantastic.

I adore Malcolm Gets, it's Will Chase the one I'm having serious trouble warming up to. Ugh.
Brent Carver really needs to get back to Broadway. I simply love his performance on the KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN cast recording.

I guess it's merely coincidental but anything more grandiose than that would be quite a stretch.

How easy is it to get to Goodspeed from New York City without a car? I would really like to be able to go see this.

It's like a 2 hour 60$ train ride there. plus a cab ride to the station so pretty easy if you have the funds (which I sadly don't)
