Due to all these threads complaining and bitching about ST not getting best revival, let's not forget the score that was also snubbed: The Woman in White. Now, Drowsy Chaperone is good and all, but I felt that the weak link was the score. They had some good stuff in there, but not Tony worthy. I would've given it to WiW any day.

Just my thoughts and perspective. I don't expect everyone to agree with me. But these are just my thoughts and opinion.

I WAS VERY UPSET!! I think Woman in White should have been up for more Tony's. It is wonderful. And Maria Friedman and Micheal Ball...WHAT ABOUT THEM!?

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber was not present... when was the last time he was at an TONY Awards ceremony? Just curious... Not against Woman In White, just throwing that out there!!

umm no offense I'm sure they were great but Maria Friedman and Micheal Ball each missed half of their performances.

I've said this before, but WiW should've won the Tony for best score.

I hate the lyrics.

As much as I wanted the score to win, I knew it wouldn't. It is really dissapointing that Maria and Michael were not nominated, but it closed too early. As much as I would have loved to see it win, Drowsy is still on bway so its good for them

I wanted WIW to win that Tony, but the fact that the show closed awhile ago is not the cause why it didn't win.

Maria said she missed only 14 performances...or so! I think she deserved to at least get a nomination!

WIW completely deserved this tony! I am very upset it didn't win!

The Best Score Tony involves music AND lyrics. And WiW's lyrics... are bad. I'm sorry. I really wanted WiW to be good, but from my first listen to the OLC, hearing things like, "I believe my heart/It believes in you/It's telling me that what I feel/Is completely true"... wow.

I feel for the actors and all they went through (especially Maria Friedman, she's an amazing woman and an amazing actress), but that doesn't change the fact that WiW's score is bad. Especially the lyrics.

If you were going to nominate WIW you'd have to nominate LESTAT. Neither would have won both were flops. You don't want a flop show that isn't playing anymore winning the big prize. What is the point of that?
