Did anyone see this show??? I did and although I did see things that were slightly boring about it I thought it was so sexy, dark and intense.
Thoughts???
I saw it. It was awful. The virtually empty "Mardi Gras", the laundry ballet, the gang-bang ballet, the sex-in-bed-while-the-ghost-of-my-brother-watches ballet, Debra Monk trying to spell out the name of the murderer with Scrabble tiles, and the snappy peppy Frank Sinatra-esque ghost-revenge finale. It was a mess.

STULTIFYING, professional but dull. Someone should have told Harry Connick he should actually see a musical before he wright one. That being said some of the music was not bad, it didn't fit anywhere, but it wasn't bad. Also, Norbert Butz was the one bright spot in an otherwise interminable evening.
Just my opinion, I may be wrong.
It was the ghost of her husband watching.
I thought it was really passionate. The whole show, I thought Debra Monk was GENIOUS. Norbert Leo Butz was INCREDIBLE.
I got lucky I saw Rachelle Rak go on for Kate Levering thank god.
Craig Bierko and Rachelle had such great chemistry. The "Other Hours" ballet was so brilliant and sexy I thought.
I saw it and also thought Debra Monk was fantastic. That is, until they gave her a stroke or something halfway through the show. She spent the second half disabled - what a waste.
Also, the spinning bed sex scene reminded me of The Exorcist, Norbert was super hot, and the songs (especially Tugboat) put me to sleep.
Oh yeah, he was her husband. Their relationship was never really clearly defined other than Camille was someone she had to take care of and he had to die if she and the other guy wanted to get married. I was probably asleep when they said he was her husband.
I would rather eat a steaming pile of dog sh*t than have to watch this crap again. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that it was the absolute worst show I have ever seen in my entire life.
When I saw it, maybe 1/3 of the audience actually applauded afterwards. The rest of us just got up and left during the curtain calls. Rude or not, I was furious that 2 1/2 hours of my life was just stollen from me, and I will never get it back.
Shame on you, Norbert!
MATTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're supposed to be my friend!

COME ON PEOPLE...I got my moneys worth when Craig Bierko took rachelle rak and slammed her onto the cutting board and ripped her dress off!
I got my money's worth when I beat it out of the cast at the stage door.
HAHAHA.
I hope I don't have to beat up Tom Hewitt tonite...I just got my nails done!
oooooh. He can suck my blood anytime.
For 46 he looks Damn Fine...but I prefer older anyway...
I would tug his salt and pepper hair till he stopped singin'

A train wreck of a show! Crappy music, bad choreography and that scene where Kate Levering was humping the headboard was excrutiatingly bad.
It was the first time ever that the audience lingered about outside the theater to discuss how dreadful the show was. We were all numb!
The fact Kate Levering left 42nd Street to do that show really shows she has horrible representation. I hope she fired her agent.
I never got my money's worth.
Probably the worst show I have ever seen. The only number I halfway sat up for was Norbert singing It's Good to be Home (or back, or here..can't remember the title...something like that).

It seems that Kate Levering has disappeared to the island of lost dancers.
Where that entire cast and creative team deserves to be.

And to think that Loretta Swit was up for the role that Debra Monk ultimately played! Ugh!
