I saw this last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It did start off a little slow and took the characters a second to flesh out, but it all eventually gelled and I got a night of very enjoyable monologues, prose, song, and reflection.

I think of the title and I realize what I saw on stage was a perfect reflection of that. Some thoughts are light, fleeting, quick, not laborious, while others are deep, reflective, and probing. Each character got their opportunities to have both and showed me that the collective colored man’s mind is not as monolithic as some might think.

I honestly would not sleep on this show and go if you have a chance.
