If you are a student or have a student with you, maybe you should do student rush? It's very cheap and I did it for La Cage a few days ago, and we really didn't miss anything in the boxes. It was 36.50.
You could also do lottos (some shows do this instead of student rush), but that's a bit risky because they do it 2 hours before the show goes up, usually. So if you don't win the tickets and go back to the TKTS booth, you may not have any good options. Some are student lottos, some are general.

When I did TKTS for Hair, I got row G of the mezzanine in the center and was able to move down at intermission but I think they've been selling out (or close to it) this week because it's their last week so I wouldn't bet on TKTS, especially for Saturday night.

thanks for the info, everyone. the trip was postponed to next week but i'll post how the line is and where the tickets are :)
