I know it's been posted a million times, but I was wondering if someone could tell me how easy it is to get Avenue Q tickets at TKTS? I want to go this Saturday night. Also, I know they start selling starting at 3pm. What time should I start waiting in line to actually get tickets? And how much do you think they'll be?
If anyone could answer my questions, I'd be extremely thankful.
Thank you!!!

Here's info on the last week's TKTS offerings.

Looks like Q was 25% last Saturday night. Hope it helps!
ETA: The first people in line @ TKTS are there before 1:30pm. At least, that has been my experience. The lines may be shorter now that the booth is in the temporary location which isn't as visable for all the tourists.

paphillyguy you are extremely wrong. I got TKTS tickets to Q on MOTHERS DAY and I got seats in the Orchestra Row O. Not great seats but I mean at least I got some. You'll probably GET seats but not like Orchestra Row D, most likely towards the back of the Orch. or Mezz.
They also have a lotto which you can enter for tix for FRONT ROW!
Good luck, it's a great SHOW!

Posted: 7/21/06 at 9:19amThe downtown TKTS booth is open earlier and is usually less crowded than midtown. I believe they open at noon, but I could be wrong. Also, they sell matinee tickets one day prior to the performance (in other words, on Tuesday for the Wednesday matinee), which the midtown site does not offer. It is located near the South Street Seaport.
