Posted: 8/28/04 at 2:39pmmy friend and i are thinking of going to TKTS on wednesday. i know that the usual prices there are between 45 and 50 bucks. does anyone think that there will be extra discounts due to the RNC? if so, we might see two shows that day. maybe even wicked and avenue q will be on TKTS. if you have any info, please let me know. thanks!

The hype about the discounted tickets is for a few shows...not all of them. If i remember correctly, you have to buy a full priced ticket and then get a second ticket for 21 dollars. I can tell you this though, wicked is already sold out on wednesday and the only way to get tickets is through the lottery and cancellation line. here is a story about the deal:
