So let me get this straight. It's Sutton's last weekend, it's a holiday and you are complaining it's only Row U?
Be glad there's a seat and grab it, or we'll have to hear you complain for years how you missed seeing Sutton ONE MORE TIME...
I can't get anything for that weekend. So many shows are sold out and I was looking at discount codes and they all say not valid Feb 14-16th. Blahhh Wicked Raffle it is!

It might be a very tuff weekend to get a good show, or good seats since its Valentines day weekend and Monday is presidents day, so its a very busy holiday weekend and tickets have probably already been bought. I wouldnt take a chance to buy the tickets at TKTS then you might just flat out miss a great show.

Is this generation spoiled or what?
When I want to be at a particular performance, I take whatever is available. I just want to BE there, for Heaven's sake. I've STOOD through shows I really wanted to see (Paul Newman's OUR TOWN)because the performance is important to me, not the seat location. One of the most memorable performances I've ever seen was A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at the Globe Theater in London. I stood through it as a "groundling" and loved every minute of it!
Remember, Shakespeare wrote "The play's the thing", not "The seat location's the thing!)
dollypop, i completely agree with you 100 percent

Now I'm starting to regret my travel plans to the city for Feb 13-16. To save money, I was just going to get my tickets from TKTS, cancellation lines, and student rush on shows. I cannot afford full price tickets with service charges in advance, and discounts are not available for this particular weekend. Will it be really difficult to see shows since it's such a popular weekend? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Trust me, you'll be able to purchase tickets at TKTS. They just one't be third row center.
I almost took advantage of one of the discounts for Millie (now kicking myself that I didn't). At first it was listed as 50% off for the 2/15 performance and then a couple of days later the ticket was only 20% off. If I can get to the city last minute I'll try for standing room.
Sutton's last performance should be a special one.
