Hi, we usually come each summer for some shows and usually buy in advance.
This time, with the shows we've chosen - wondering if we should wait until we get to NYC and save money by trying TKTS or rushing or something alternative to traditional methods.
We want to see
Anastasia (2 seats)
Book of Mormon (4 seats)
Once on This Island (2 seats)
Would love any advice - thanks!

Book of Mormon is the only one I’d buy in advance, but also it’s not as hard to get tickets as it used to. You could line up if you’re willing to get standing room or try the lotto before most likely still being able to purchase full price tickets. Anastasia is always at tkts and everyone seems to win the once in this Island lotto on their first try, tho i haven’t seen the lotto situation personally.

Book of Mormon is not available on TKTS, and while it isn't as hard as it used to be, it still does sell out regularly. Premium seats will likely be the only available seats if you don't buy in advance.

It might change after Tony nominations come out, but around Easter time the lottery was basically a guaranteed win for everyone. They give out 20 $49.50 tickets and then something like 30 $59.50 tickets. The 2nd time I entered everyone who put their name in got a ticket.
