TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE w/ Len Cariou

Inside St. George’s Episcopal Church right off Union Square, Sea Dog Theater is putting on an intimate and beautiful production of “Tuesdays With Morrie” that just started performances. Chris Domig is wonderful as Mitch and then there’s the man, the legend himself Len Cariou giving an absolutely gorgeous performance as Morrie. 

There is no set here. The only props are a large piano in the center of the space and a walker and wheelchair Morrie uses more gradually as his illness progresses. It really is just a few rows of chairs, a couple feet in front of these great actors. If you’ve ever wanted to sit RIGHT in front of Cariou and watch him act, this is your chance - don’t waste it.  

I cried as hard tonight as I thought I would have done at “The Notebook” a couple weeks ago which I didn’t expect. This is running for about 3 weeks only and is so worth your time, if you get a chance.

I loved this book by Mitch Albom, he is a fantastic author. I would love to see this production, sounds wonderful!! Glad you enjoyed it!!
