Coming up towards the end of the show. Cynthia Erivo & the cast of The Color Purple will be performing on The View today. The show is currently airing now on ABC. The performance is expected to be at the end of the show.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

DAMN!!! She can sing anything at any time of day. Just looked a little weird as there was no set. They just did the number on The View's bare stage.

Brooks also wasn't there when the cast performed on the Today show a few weeks ago. I think the producers are more or less pushing for Erivo's Tony chances & giving her as much TV as possible. Brooks' Tony chances are slim, while Erivo is the front runner in her category.



I also have to wonder if a guest cancelled on The View today last minute? They seemed to be throwing out some not-so-interesting Hot Topics & they were clearly stretching for time there at the end of the show.

Hey, if "stretching for time" means letting the Color Purple gals doo-wop acapella as much as they want, then I say there should be way more stretching for time in daytime TV! TV Alert: Erivo & The Color Purple on ABC's The View
