TV Shows as Musicals?

Does anyone know of any TV shows that could make good musicals?

re: TV Shows as Musicals?

A few years ago, Buffy The Vampire Slayer did a musical episode. I guess they had a spell put on them and everyone broke out into random song throughout the show. It was kinda funny, but as I had never seen the show before, I had no clue what was going on in regards to the story or who people were.

How about Mr. Ed??? You could have a singing and dancing horse--he could do a few power ballad duets with Wilbur. Just as long as it doesn't evolve into Equus--The Musical! :)

When I was very young, I created a musical (from existing show tunes) based on The Facts of Life. I've blocked most of it out, but I do remember that I had Tootie sing "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" at Blair and Jo's graduation.

I could see "The Brady Bunch" and most DEFINATELY see "The Nanny". ("The Nanny" could bring Barbra back to Broadway!)

Although I wouldn't be shocked if we saw "Sex and the City" in a few years...

Will and Grace would be awesome as a musical.

That's a great idea-maybe it's more grand opera territory though.
