BroadwayBaby109 - Yes, PLEASE, Family Guy!!!!!!!!!!
Seth MacFarland is a HUGE fan of classic Broadway and is a comic genius. I would pay any price I had to pay to see a Family Guy musical!

"Trial by Jury" already has Bebe in it. Maybe making it a musical is the next logical step.
I think they ARE making a Family Guy musical.....I don't remember exactly where I heard that from but I remember seeing an article somewhere talking about a live Family Guy production of sorts and thinking "Oh man, that's AWSOME!"
they did the Family Guy live at Town Hall last spring i think

Yeah maybe that's what I read about......

South Fl Marc -- I think there IS a musical based on Cops -- there's a song from it on the NEO recording...
And I agree with Family Guy -- if they ever did a movie it would have to be a musical like South Park. A stage show wouldn't work so well - Brian and Stewie COULD not effectively be done.

Got one a few nights ago, South, actually, honey. And way to keep the board clean for the youngins'. Really, really, REALLY nice.
And it's got nothing to be with me being uptight or taking a joke lightly. That was a totally rude, uncalled for joke about a woman who's done nothing but good for the world. You want to make fun of someone, pick on Rosie.
Either "The Golden Girls" or "I Love Lucy" would make brilliant musicals!!!

P.S. - Perhaps, since a few of the ladies from the show seem to enjoy Broadway, "Designing Women" could work ... with the original television cast!

I'm pretty sure there have been a few threads about this, but I will again say:
Universal Pictures presents, "The Munsters- The Musical!". You'll get a Frankenstein monster, and a vampire, too!
"Lost in Space"
"Wild, Wild West"
"Twilight Zone" - several episodes, each written by different composers
"Get Smart"
"That Girl"

Only if they get Harvey to play Miss Ann Marie.

There was a TV series of "Honeymooners" musicals in the 1970's.
The Colbert Report could be absolutely hilarious.

There was a GILLIGAN'S ISLAND musical in the early 90's. It was horrible.
The HAPPY DAYS musical was done this past spring in Los Angeles. Joey McIntyre was Fonzie.

This was a thread on the offtopic board, so I can't claim it was my idea...but still:
SAVED BY THE BELL
How fun would it be as a really really campy musical. People who grew up on the show would love every cheesy minute of it.
And I agree with Family Guy...almost every episode already has a Broadway musical number. Heck, the opening titles are striaght from A Chorus Line (particularly costuming).

Will & Grace if only to watch Jack & Kern.
Frasier - All of those characters are so "big" that they'd translate well on stage.
I remember when Steven Bochco tried to do a TV "musical" called Cop Rock. Anyone else remember that one? They were talkign about it on one of thise VH1 I Love the 80's shows. I had forgotten all about it. I think it lasted maybe 3 episodes.
Psst...evr have a fling with a Broadway Actor/Actress?
