Hopefully this performance will make its way online. I would like to see it.

Wow, I missed out on so much while I was at work!! I just have to say what a great idea I think it was to write the View, I am so going to do that tonight!! And I totally agree with most of the comments about the actual show, like about how short it was, Adam's suit, how wonderful is was to see him on National TV singing his own stuff, and the list goes on and on!

Also, I just had to share how funny it was that at 11 o'clock I literally had every person I know that was watching the View, call me on my cell phone and my work phone at the same time to make sure I knew about Adam on TV. I guess I have done a sufficent amount of gushing about him, to make everyone in MI aware that if he is on TV, for any reason to call me.

I am going to be in trouble once the Rent promo's get going, my phone will not stop ringing, well I guess that is not a bad thing if it means Adam on TV.

Okay, I just watched it again. Three times. My mother is going to confiscate that tape soon...

anyway, am I losing it, or is a verse missing from that song? I'm going to have to watch it and follow along with the lyrics in a minute.

Funny. I have a friend that I don't see much because she lives far away, but she called me at 11. "Hey, I know you probably know about this since you're like... his biggest fan ever, but ARE YOU WATCHING THE VIEW?!?!!" I was honored!

I was just watching my tape and besides the very opening, did they talk about him in the beginning? there was some security check on my tape!

At the VERY beginning of the show there were clips from Bway.com's video from Joe's Pub, 11/13. They said something about how he blew Broadway audiences away in Rent, AIDA and Cabaret, and now he's stepping out on his own, etc.

That's a good question. I mean, I've always been a huge fan of Bryan Adams, but it's definitely not the same.

Emcee, I don't have a tape, but I'm pretty sure the whole second verse and chorus were left out. The fact that no one's commented about it before now tells me that it didn't matter much. It seemed the right length for this kind of performance.
