Oh! I thought you were talking about the British sitcom with Elaine Stritch. I was about to say that it was already out on DVD, we don't need a cd of her croaking.

WONDERFUL! We can't get a CD of "La Cage" made but they'll do this. (No doubt because it's going to make so much money.)

The novelty of this recording wears off very quickly. Once you and your friends have fallen around in hysterics a few times at the extraordinary TURN ME LOOSE ON BROADWAY number and winced your way through Bette's rendition of JUST LIKE A MAN ( which I think Joan Rivers does on Ben Bagley's "Vernon Duke Revisited" album), you can probably use this CD as a drink coaster.
