Anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the recording from a few years ago?

Well worth it.
Posted this earlier, but it got lost:
I had purchased the concept CD when I first heard about just over two years ago. I absolutely love this score. I was so disappointed to see it stalled, but so excited to hear when it went back into workshops and readings, and eventually a production at the Asolo. I cannot wait for this show and will be making a trek to NY to see it. Ms. Santoriello has composed a wonderful score, with my personal favorites being The Tale, Up In the Garret, and The Promise (Did these remain in the Asolo production?) I am, however, most disappointed that her brother, Alex Santoriello, will not be playing the role of Sydney Carton. He was absolutely fantastic on the concept recording. I cannot wait for this show. Just my two cents.

Hey, Jeff...just wanted to clarify something. I thought in the concept CD,(which I own, and would be MOST embarrased if I missed this detail), Sydney was sung by someone other than Alex...(I keep my CD in the car to listen every so often, so I'll have to look :)
Alex sung Dr. Mannette, though. Natalie Toro sings Mdme DeFarge in it, as well.
I fully agree that this CD is well worth it. I only wish I had gotten 2 when I could have, because, as I understand it, the inventory is exhausted, and I don't think they will bring it back...as I heard, the next CD will be with the upcoming cast of Tale opening up in Broadway.
From what I know, the last two songs you mentioned, Jeff, were not sung at the Asolo...someone correct me if I am wrong :I

Right you are. Up in the Garret was definitely not. And in the shows I saw, The Promise was included.
bwaybabe2, Alex Santoriello plays Sydney on the concept recording. Timothy Shew plays Dr. Manette, but on tracks two and five Alex fills in for Timothy and also plays Dr. Manette.

Cats...I stand corrected. I think you are also a Tale fan, so must probably know.
I forgot that I had lent my CD to someone, but I will definitely look more closely...
gosh, it just did not sound like Alex...=I
