Is the site down or are they doing routine check-up or are they dead?

I can't get on there either, but there was some chatter earlier in the week about not being able to access the site with Mozilla Firefox, which I use. I was able to access the site until yesterday.

Just tried again and got the message that they are Temporarily Offline.

They've been hit with a "denial of service" attack. Which basically means someone flooded their server with more traffic than it can handle.
