Curious if anyone else is planning on going to this? I love immersive shows like this and the setting is amazing. They announced the cast yesterday.

Casting is now complete for the new immersive theatrical event Tammany Hall, which will take audiences back to 1929 for an up-close look at the corruption and scandal surrounding the NYC mayoral election and the infamous political machine running the city.

The cast will feature Bobby Austin as Olvany, Marie Anello as Betty Comton, Natasa Babic as Valentine, Jesse Castellano as Kresel, Martin Dockery as Beau James Walker, Shahzeb Hussain as Curry, Chloe Kekovic as Kiki, Brian Morris as Legs Diamond, Sami Petrucci as Smarty, and Christopher Romero as Fiorello LaGuardia.

Audiences will explore 15 different rooms in the historic SoHo Playhouse—which was itself a Society of St. Tammany clubhouse in the 1920s known as The Huron Club—encountering familiar characters as they conspire in corners.

Lol. I do not work there. I don't even have a ticket for this yet. I'm a sucker for.immersive shows like this and figured this wasn't on most people's radars so I posted the info from the casting noticed.

The playhouse is part of an entire building. From the sounds of this, it means you’ll get to explore the apartments and non theatrical parts of the building too.

My friend loves immersive shows and has raved about The Great Gatsby in London so we got tickets to this since it has one of the same creators. It sounds a bit like Sleep No More (which I also haven't seen yet) where you kind of just explore different rooms and follow characters around. The BroadwayRadio podcast had an episode interviewing the creators where they talked a little about this and it sounds pretty interesting, despite me not knowing much of what happened that election year.

There's also a few $40 off codes floating around if people don't want to pay full price.

Good to know about the podcast I'll have to give it a listen! I got TDF tickets (for anyone interested the entire run is on TDF at a very good price) for Decmeber so looking forward to it then.

Looks like this has closed early as the ticket page is no longer available but their website or socials say nothing about it being closed. It was supposed to run until the 9th, I wonder if it will return?
