Can anyone help me on this... we saw Tarzan's Saturday matinee (3/24) and did not have an insert in our program and did not see it listed in the lobby, but, I am pretty sure Terk was not being played by Chester and that Merle was not Kala at this performance.
Did anyone else see it and know for sure?

Thanks for the info!
Whoever played Kala was really good and very similar to Merle, I did not even realize it was not Merle until after the show when they were collecting donations for bcefa in the lobby. Terk, I noticed right away because he did not have as much vocal power or enthusiasm as Chester.
The last time I saw this show was almost a year ago (in previews) and I have to say Josh has grown into Tarzan in the most amazing way. He really seems to get into the character and exhibits so much more emotion. My wife actually asked me if it was the same guy that is on the cd. She said his performance was much stronger and emotional than the cast recording, and I agreed with her. Josh has really developed Tarzan to be his own.

I had a group of 24 people and not one of us had an insert, I am not sure how that happened.
You are right that book is gorgeous! I looked at it in the merchandise booth. The photography is incredible and the entire book looked like a keeper. I decided to wait and hopefully order it cheaper from Amazon, where I figured it would be cheaper, and it is - $26.00 (with free shipping). Can not wait to receive it.

Posted: 3/29/07 at 9:39amThe book is awesome, I got it via amazon last week. A lot of insight into why they did the things the way they did (visible harnesses, etc.). Plus, great photography!
