Tarzan ! When ???

Ok, forgive my obsession with Tarzan so early on, but I was wondering if anyone has any clues about WHEN is this show coming to Broadway. I have read many things about it (naturally) but i don't remember anywhere reading for when it is scheduled. I have even read that a workshop doesn't always guarantee production, but since it is Disney, i think it is almost a sure bet. A friend here told me that they are preparing it for the 2004 Fall season. Could it be that early ? Does someone know pleeeease ?

I think it was... didn't you get my pm? I remember that NY times article about the three new Disney shows.

ahhh I'm so sleep deprived, you'll have to excuse that. We need more obsessed crazy people. I totally planned on asking adam when a I saw Cabaret, but he didn't come out.

Oh man I hope it's not 2005!! Would there really be this much talk if it was soooooooooo far away cuz I really don't think I can wait until then!! By the way...I think I'm def in the crazy adam club lol...

I can't wait for Tarzan! Matt is so cute and talented, as is Adam, that the show will be amazing.

I actually heard that may be pushed to 2006. Which is not fun, because I love the cast doing the readings now, and by 2006, I can bet a number of them won't be involved anymore.

2006 is sooo far away! It's too far away, but I'm sure when it comes out it'll be worth the wait.

Adam Pascal and Matt Morrison- definately worth the wait.

Musicalgreekfan I LOVE that picture of him. Mistress I know you're not a fan of the facial hair but I do not know what it is with that picture...he looks so hot in that picture. :)

does anyone know if he plans on growing out his hair again for the role if they cast him or hey maybe in general???

so Adam Pascal play the narrator? didn't I read somewhere he plays Tarzan when he is older narrating the story?

last thought out there.. the lovely Laura Bell Bundy. when is But I'm a cheerleader looking to maybe grace the scene?

Not even just Matt Morrison and Adam Pascal. Will Chase! Joshua Kobak! Kristen Lee Kelly! Anika Larsen! Among others! I've seen almost every person in that reading in other shows and they're all really impressive performers and some are among my favorite performers I've ever seen. I love Adam and I like Matt, but for me, this is an A-List cast!

Matt has been workshopping the adult Tarzan. But Tarzan cant communicate with humans so thats why theres a narrator.

I wish he would grow his hair, but I dont know if they want his hair long or if they'll give him a wig. I always got the impression actors had to stop fiddling with their hair when they signed on to do a show until they were told what the production planned to do with their hair.

And, I dunno if it actually makes sense for Tarzan to be clean shaven even though he usually is... why would he decide whilst living amongst the animals that hair removal is a good idea...?
