OMG me.... josh strickland whether he knows it yet or not, is my soul mate
It's bad enough Thomas Shumacher embarassed this cast by letting this show open. Why does he insist on promoting it? Please let sleeping dogs die!

I don't see why Wedding Singer isn't doing the same? Last time they promoted the show, the box office got a great boost. It has a very catchy/upbeat score, I think if they would just advertise it, people might be intrigued by it.
TWS probably doesn't have enough money to advertise, or maybe doesn't want to spend the money to advertise. I do think they should spend the money though...it would do the show a world of good.
That's true Rentboy...I guess the producers think its crap too. Unfortunately Tarzan may weather the winter.

Yeah, if only the Wedding Singer had Tarzan's producers. Neither are that great of productions, but at least they're not boring?

I heard a Wedding Singer spot advertising Constantine today.
Tarzan sure is. I almost left during intermission. It was a snore. I don't know how the cast gets through it each night. I'm sure it's like being at the gym and the whole time I'm thinking about food or the hot guy jogging in front of me.
There were no kids at the show I attended, but I bet that is murder on the cast when they get a bus load. At least at Dora and the Wiggles I could keep my eyes open.

ha, well I'm speaking from the music standpoint. I don't mind the recording, some of the songs are nice to listen to. I wouldn't call it groundbreaking, but it's a nice listen. Although after watching some clips of the show, the direction seems rather horrible.

So this is on the weekend Today? Anyone know if this will be online like the other apperances? I wonder why they picked the weekend version.
I set the DVR in case I forget in the morning.
mejusthavingfun, you are very pleasant.
BUMP
Did they sing? I'm going through the video now and I don't see them yet.
The Today show has a wedding thing going on every Wednesday where they have a couple get married on the show and plan everything for them. It would be a perfect thing to have The Wedding Singer cast be on the show for one of those segments. Who makes these decisions? Maybe an email would be in order.
Did I miss it?!!!!
I just went through the whole show (as was told by playbill, channel 4 from 7 to 9) and didn't see it.
What gives?

I was at my friends house and she had her radio on (for some strange reason) yeseterday, and I heard an advertisement for Constantine going into TWS. There was a song playing in the backround and it sounded like "It's Your Wedding Day" but the music was different and some words were different. Anyone know what that song was? An earlier version of that song?
Sorry to be off-topic.
Now, i'll get back on-topic, I went through the channels and I didn't see it either.
That song is the version they used in Seattle.
I went through the whole thing and did not see it. Maybe they didn't perform because of the weather?

They changed a lot of things since the Seattle run.
