"WONDERFUL WICKED CASTING. Stage and film star TAYE DIGGS will join the company of WICKED for a limited engagement, beginning Christmas night and performing through January 18. Mr. Diggs will play the role of Fiyero, filling in for actor Norbert Leo Butz, who is on a medical level-of-absence until January 20. Mr. Butz' understudy, Kristoffer Cusick, is currently playing the role. Generating stage chemistry should not be difficult for Mr. Diggs or his co-star Idina Menzel (Elphaba); they are husband and wife."
