Taye Diggs on Will & Grace — Page 3

I think you weren't supposed to know if he was gay or not until he gets hit at the end, or thats just me trying to find a logical explanation for James to get hit at the end because at that point the joke was old. I loved Taye Diggs on the show but I don't think he's coming back. I'm pretty sure that last scene was more to let us know that he was indeed interested but that Will lost his chance and they had a misencounter. I would love for him to be Will's ultimate lover though, Diggs is like in the top 10 hottest actors.

Agreed, ray-andallthatjazz86, regarding cup-to-head gag

I don't understand why he couldn't (and actually wouldn't) come back. This is the last season and there can't be that many more episodes to shoot. Maybe that's how the show will wrap up -- with Taye in love with Will. Wouldn't that be great?

EugLoven, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else by saying that Taye never convinced me that he was gay. It was more me commenting on his acting than anything else. I meant more that I never saw him show genuine interest in Will as anything more than just an interesting conversation.

As much as I'll miss it I can't say I'm said to see the show go. It's gotten tired and forced. I agree with whoever said it seemed the point of this episode was to put Taye Diggs in. Not create and interesting story. Anyone who thought THAT episode was funny should buy the first four seasons on DVD. That is some genuinely funny television.

I suppose to convince us he could actually sh*g Eric. I think that would convince / excite (delete as appropriate) me. Hahaha!

It was one of the best episodes in a long time. I loved the Sound of Music theme.
Grace sitting surrounded by children was a great image. I was rolling on my coach!

I also thought is was a VERY funny episode. However, I agree that the characters (as usually happens in long running sitcoms) have become characatures. If you see "Karen" in the first few episodes and "Karen" now, it's like watching the cartoon version of the original. At least it's not as bad as Friends became, though.

I'm sure he does if it's in the showers after the game.

As in we are going to "hit you over the head" with it?

I had no idea Taye was going to be on the show. What a nice surprise that was! I thought he was pretty good; whatever his acting lacked in the episode, he definitely made up for it by looking delicious.

Finally got to see this episode, wonderful! Heh, I didn't see the Ralph/Rowlf connection coming. The kids should have commented on how ugly Grace's dress was.
But really cool b/c I actually went to one of the singalongs in DC! I dragged my family, they weren't thrilled, but it was so much fun. Lotsa cute costumes, a little girl won, but 4 people were dressed up as hills so the hills were alive, they deserved to win.

"i had it on in the background and only saw certain parts.
what caused the equity line?"
Rosario says she played Gretl in the El Salvador First National Production of The Sound of Music and Karen sighs and says "oh Roro - I would've paid five chickens to see that" and Rosario just looks at her and says "it was an Equity production, you white, racist, bitch."
wonderful.
EMO_GEEK & ROWERS UNITE - I have a VHS of this that I can copy for you no charge - PM me and lemme know...
I have to say, Taye disappointed me in Wicked - he seemed (as he's so charming and sexy in his movies) that he'd be a great Fiyero but he was really stiff. I always attributed it to him not being an actor for bigger theatres because he's so realistic it doesn't read unless on film or in a blackbox space. I thought he was excellent in Kevin Hill (so disappointed it got cancelled - that was my show!), and looooved him in Go! I think he's just...he's got to be really right for a part, and there are certain things he does well and just really fits into, but he's not someone you can throw any material at and expect him to wow you with it. I certainly don't think that's a bad thing it's just....there's a vast difference between his strengths and his less than, y'know? I feel like I'm the same type of performer so I don't mean that in an insulting way at all...
Hopefully he'll get to a place where he has enough clout to be really picky about what projects he does and can really focus on doing what caters to his strengths.

I also loved the equity line. I love it when they throw jokes for us theater-lovers on Will & Grace, I notice they've been doing it a lot lately.

I was never a "Grace Adler" fan, loving Jack, Karen and Will, sbut she was very funny in this episode. Her "singing" is really funny. How about when she knocked the kid off her lap.
As for Taye Diggs, he is absolutely gorgeous. I have a feeling the show will end with Grace and Will just being alone together. I rather see them with a mate, but the whole concept of the show was about their friendship and need for each other.
