Heh heh, since I always think posters must look like their avatars, that is REALLY funny coming from yours.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I agree. It was a great episode! I'm pretty sure that's not the last we've seen of Taye's character. They wouldn't (and damn well shouldn't) leave us hanging like that.
I will miss "Will & Grace" a lot.

I agree with Rath: The script was quite funny, but Taye was bordering on catatonic. He delivered every line in a dim monotone voice and barely registered a single interesting facial expression.
Taye never convinced me he was gay.
Oh God, the jokes that can spring from that response!

You can say all you want about how good Taye looked, but my Eric looked sensational as Capt. Von Trapp. (sigh!)

Taye has never really impressed me as an actor, dating all the way back to RENT. He comes off very stiff and callow on film, and I thought he was totally miscast in the recent revival of A SOLDIER'S PLAY (way too prim and proper). The only time I've really liked him was THE WILD PARTY.

His acting may leave something to be desired, but he's the one that Will ends up with.

I thought Taye was fantastic in How Stella Got Her Groove Back; and was adorable in Malibu's Most Wanted, and Kevin Hill was great. I understand the 'stiff' comments, but even in RENT, I thought he gave Benny a depth you wouldn't think he could do with such little material to work with. Just my opinion.
Wish I had seen this episode, but I don't even know what channel or what time this show comes on, I've only watched a couple of episodes. If anyone gets some or all of it on the internet, please let everyone know.

Hey... no Taye bashing. I want him to come back! I still see him as Benny though, it's a little surreal. I'm like, what's Benny doing talking to Will?

oh man. I looove Will & Grace. Judging from the ending of this episode, Taye will be back, won't he? I mean it was like a cliff hanger, when he came in looking for Will. I hope they keep him on the show...and that they continue to write Broadway references into the episodes (which I know they will)... My sister got the Ralph/Rolf comparison before me... my favorite parts where whenever Grace was "singing." classic. :)

i must say. i love taye diggs, but there is this thing he does in every film. has anyone else noticed that he does this thing where he scratches the back of his neck. he did it in rent in "you'll see" and i thought, i've seen that before! and then tonight, he did it on " will and grace." i don't remember which part, though. one of his quirks, or trademarks, i dunno. just something i noticed.

I gotta say that the ending was incredibly disappointing. What ever happens to James? Something could have ended the episode better than, "Eh, it happens all in a day."
And to be honest, Taye didn't convince me either that he was playing a gay man. Not in a million years. James was just lucky that Will is desperate and alone.

Thought it was a cute episode, but after 7(?) I'm getting so disappointed with Will's unsuccessful love pursuits. As much as I hate to see this show end, it better end with Will finding some satisfaction, either with himself as a single man or a perfect match. Because I was left so unsatisfied. Taye and Will chat chat and *bam* another missed opportunity. I couldn't help feeling like this was an episode guest starring Taye Diggs for the sake of it being an episode guest starring Taye Diggs.
Completely off subject and totally not wanting to start any sh*t, I found this comment a little off-putting:
"Taye never convinced me he was gay."
Only because I want a logical explaination of what it takes to convince someone is gay? Becaaaaauuusssseeee unless you're gay or an awesome hag, you'd be best to know some of the best gay men are those that are unconvincable. Don't need me to get into details *wink*
