I went to the night session of the U.S. Open last night and quite a variety of stars were there including Nicole Kidman and Taye Diggs. Taye was there with a bunch of friends.

There was a couple sitting in front of me talking about him and his wife, who they apparently thought was Kristin Chenoweth (the short annoying one from Wicked, according to them.)

I was amused by their conversation and tapped them on the shoulder to correct their wife-swapping error. When I told them that his wife was actually Idina Menzel they had absolutely no clue who I was talking about.

Just thought I'd share a story I found amusing.

She's doing concerts up in New England if I'm not mistaken.

Just got back from tonight's open (wednesday)...
this time taye AND idina were both there!! they were shown on the screen right after the other celebs...those being nicole kidman and regis...

According to today's Page Six column in the New York Post, Idina will be singing America the Beautiful at the US Open finals this weekend, along with James Taylor. I don't know what that means...a duet, or one will sing at the men's final and one at the women's? Actually it said Irina Menzel but I've concluded that it's most likely is her :)
