Everyone needs to see this movie not because of the political humor but simply for a scene where the main character Gary is performing in LEASE: The Broadway Musical. LOL

The logo looks exactly like the Rent logo, and a scene is shown where the characters are performing the song "Everyone has AIDS!" which goes:
"Everyone has AIDS!
AIDS! AIDS! AIDS! AIDS!"

I nearly peed my pants laughing. The puppets are dressed in very "Rent" costumes including one transvestite in a santa jacket.

Another scene of the movie contains hilarious dialogue about CATS, but I won't ruin it. Go see this movie!!! It's the best satire of the crappiness of Rent I have ever seen.

Yes that's me. No, it's not a Rent homage.

Agreed! Any musical theater fan (that isn't easily offended) needs to see this movie! It's hilarious. But as a warning, if you don't like South Park, you won't like this either. But if you DO like South Park, you'll love it!

But to the point of this thread: you betcha that's some clever design work in motion, so much so that, at times, it completely upstages the movie itself. The modelling work is extraordinary, and the costumes are remarkably detailed.

And the sex scene is a riot.
