I agree with a lot of other sentiments on this thread, but I have a few comments I'd like to add.
First, keep up the good work!! For one thing, I adore being able to book a show a couple of months from now and have box office hold. Ticketmaster won't allow that, and I've had multiple tickets lost in the mail. There are some of us who collect ticket stubs, so e-tickets aren't a great option. The website is already really good to use.
Secondly, I would love to be able to see what tickets I'm getting- select by seat. That's a great idea. Just another thought- how about generic pictures from certain areas of the stage to see what the view's like? Many professional sports teams offer this, as well as NY City Opera, for example. I don't mean from every seat, obviously. Just food for thought. And it would stop a lot of the "what's the view..." questions.
Also, please make the verification word bigger! This is one of the few sites where I can usually make out the word (good!), but it's still often small. I like that you can search multiple times without constantly re-entering it.
Although I like the multi-page format of information for each show (very helpful!), I feel like pricing information as well as the schedule should always be on the first page. Please keep the running time displayed prominently- it's always one of my first questions.
Like many others, I hate the pricing levels being under Advanced Options. It seems like an unnecessary extra step (since I'm always looking for the cheapest seats personally). My computer also gets screwed up by the pop-ups.
Rush info would be helpful, but then again- that's not your responsibility. We can always just go to the show's site ourselves. But it would be a nice addition. As would being emailed about when tickets are going to be onsale for existing productions.
And last- thank you that your fees are reasonable. I hate having to pay $10 in fees on a single ticket! (I actually tend to avoid shows that aren't on Telecharge- if I'm going to see them, I hoof it to the box office.)
Thanks for actually taking the time to solicit the feedback of the people using the site. That says a lot about the company itself.
