Telly Leung as Boq

I read on his website that he's apparently 5'9".

Aren't munchkins supposed to be..well, short? How are they working this out? I don't imagine Kate Reinders as being over 6' tall.

Uh, Robb Sapp is taller than that, I think. He seemed so onstage.

I don't know about 5'9. Having seen him in person, he's REALLY short.

I'm happy they've cast an Asian as Boq.

Logan Lipton (tour Boq) is taller than Kendra Kassebaum (tour Galinda) I believe....

Unless you are so uninvolved in the show that things like this bother you..it's not a problem.

Telly has an amazing voice and he is a lot of fun to be around too. He should do very well in the role.

I think it is WAY funnier when the Boq is taller than Glinda, because then the line "Aren't you a little for a Munchkin?" lands that much better. Maybe I am just saying that cuz I would love to play Boq one day and I am 6 feet.

I think its kind of ironic that all the munchkins were taller than Kristen Chenoweth when i saw the show.

as boq says in the show, "not all munchkins are short, miss galinda..."

in the show, elphaba and nessarose are both, technically, munchkins; their father is the governor of munchkinland and they were both born and raised there. logan lipton is relatively short in real life, but no shorter than is extraordinary.
