3. Sweeney Todd; The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
4. The Last Five Years
5. Cabaret
6. The Producers
7. Caroline, Or Change
8. Into The Woods
9. Chicago
9.5. Aida
10.Avenue Q

And I have to mention "Hairspray", because though I havn't seen it (soon...soon), I LOVE the score. And there are so many more that, just because they don't make my list now, doesn't mean they won't next week.

I haven't even seen 10 musicals. Ones I haven't seen are marked with an (*), and my judgements are based on the music, live performances and my general knowledge of the show. Now, in no specific order:

1) Thoroughly Modern Millie
2) Hairspray *
3) 42nd Street
4) Wicked
5) Phantom of the Opera
6) Oklahoma!
7) The Producers * (hope to see the tour!)
Urinetown

No answer for 9 and 10.

NINE is my favorite musical, and has occupied the top spot for years.

Actually, my top three haven't varied since 1988. The rest fluctuate.

5. SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE
6. PROMISES, PROMISES
7. COMPANY

Wow, that's an odd thing to see written down. Do I really like FIRST LADY SUITE more than SUNDAY IN THE PARK or COMPANY? At the moment, yeah. Ask me again tomorrow.
