(In case nobody has heard of "Platinum".....It starred Alexis Smith. Tried out in Philadelphia in 1979, where I saw it twice, and moved to B'way. It did not last long but Alexis Smith was nominated for a Tony. The show was never recorded.)

And I have to mention "Hairspray", because though I havn't seen it (soon...soon), I LOVE the score. And there are so many more that, just because they don't make my list now, doesn't mean they won't next week.
