Surprised no one has posted about this! I have great memories of seeing the original and a new Tesori musical is always fantastic news.  Really interesting to think about casting possibilities for this. Hope Sam Gold ends up being involved.

David Lindsay-Abaire is my favorite playwright, and this is one of my favorite works of his. This is going to be awesome.

Looks like the production is opening at the Atlantic Theatre Company this November. Excited to see how it turns out.

FYI, member tickets are now on sale for the Atlantic Theater production, which begins previews on November 5th, and opens on December 8th. It's currently scheduled to run through December 26th, and the general sale starts at noon on August 27th

Some obvious similarities to Violet and she really added dimension to those characters via song. Excited for this one.
