How Much Did the Recasting Affect "Death Becomes Her"? Jun 15 2026, 05:02:29 PM
The argument of recasting has been made in the weekly grosses threads for months. One thing that hasn’t been said though, is I don’t blame Jen Simard at all for staying/extending. Acting is a very unpredictable profession and even though we can all be “sure” she’d be cast in all kinds of future roles, we, and she, don’t really know that for certain. I also understand the producers for not kicking her to the curb.

A lot of theaters are going to be vacant in the coming months - any idea of what’s going where? Jun 10 2026, 08:07:26 PM
I remember someone on here posted that 860 would be going in the Booth. If that is correct, not sure why they haven’t announced it yet since Proof is a limited run.

The 79th Annual Tony Awards Telecast! Jun 7 2026, 11:18:08 PM

That seems wrong).
Only six minutes over. Bring back PINK next year."
That woman is Christine Schwarzman whose husband is the CEO of Blackstone. They are somewhat contr

The 79th Annual Tony Awards Telecast! Jun 7 2026, 08:58:33 PM
If Rachel Zegler is performing later, I wish they would have picked someone else to present. Just a personal preference, but I don’t like when award shows have people do double duty like that.

Donald Trump said that his administration will be working with Congress to transfer the Kennedy Center “back to them” in light of a federal judge’s ruling that the president’s name must be taken off the performing arts institution and blocking plans to close it for two years for renovations.

I just heard this on the evening news as well. Hopefully Congress can take the Kennedy Center Honors back and actually bestow them on people of merit.

What show might move into the Majestic after Beaches closes on Sunday? May 20 2026, 07:16:44 PM
I just saw a rumor on Facebook that a revival of Come From Away could be coming to Broadway to coincide with the 25th anniversary of 9/11. I don’t really believe it, but a concert version or some other event for the anniversary could feasibly be held at a theater.

Paddington at the Al Hirschfeld May 19 2026, 02:35:51 PM
Wonder if they would try to cast some “names” in this or if that would drive the already high cost up further?

Kristin Chenoweth We Appreciate YOU May 13 2026, 08:58:42 AM
As far as the OP’s post, I do think it would be fun to hypothesize what stage shows KC should do next.
I’d personally love to see her in a comedic play, whether new or a revival.

Vanessa Williams in ‘Devil Wears Prada’ May 7 2026, 07:34:18 PM
So this has been running in London since December of 2024? Also, Vanessa has played Miranda the whole time? If that’s correct, I did not realize that.

Those poor orchestras 😳😂 JK. Just couldn’t pass up the chance to haha at the typo.

Frankie Grande posted on social media that he had cervical spine surgery. He mentions he will spend the next 4 weeks recovering. Assuming Titanique begins rehearsals in February, he might be able to be recovered in time, but I’m not so sure.

“Roundabout Warns Studio 54 Could Close” Dec 18 2025, 02:00:07 PM
The discussion on Roundabout mainly renting out their theaters made me curious, is the upcoming revival of The Rocky Horror Show an actual Roundabout revival, or a production they are just renting out to?

THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES To Close January 4, 2026 Dec 5 2025, 03:19:00 PM
Kristin Chenoweth is out of the show tonight. The website doesn’t state that Sherie Rene Scott is on, so it might be Ryah Nixon.

THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES To Close January 4, 2026 Nov 25 2025, 09:42:44 AM
You know what’s really strange about the whole situation was the lack of promotion on television. Kristin appeared on Good Morning America during previews where they said the cast would be back to perform in January - which I found so odd at the time and I’m sure will not happen now. She was also on CBS Mornings last week, while F. Murray Abraham was on a Fox morning show. But that was it. I kept thinking she’d be on something involving NBC considering she also has Stumble t

OFFICIAL TONY AWARDS ELIGIBILITY 2025-26 Nov 20 2025, 07:24:09 PM

Kristin Chenoweth/Stephen Schwartz team up for Queen of Versailles stage musical Oct 11 2023, 09:32:07 AM
I watched the documentary this weekend and found it pretty interesting. Jackie is an incredibly sympathetic character and I think a lot could be done with her. Likewise, David could make a great villain.
I know this is just a workshop (following the one or reading that was held in the spring), but any chance this might get expedited due to the large names behind it?
