So I just returned from my annual week in NY. I just wanted to thank you all for your input into what shows I should see. I know the recommendation threads can be a pain but I really do value everyone's opinion so all the feedback was helpful. I had an absolutely wonderful time and also want to thank the whole Broadway community both on stage and in the audience. I work in a highly stressful job as an emergency first responder and my week in the city allows me to completely switch off - I didn't once think about work! I always feel such joy being surrounded by live theatre and live theatre fans. I always enjoy chatting to the people I'm sitting next to and getting their take on various shows.
I saw 7 shows in 6 days. Instead of reviewing them all here I've added my two cents on each show's respective thread.
Live theatre is a privilege to watch and I know I'm lucky to be able to afford to see so many shows but I think we are all lucky to be living during this time of groundbreaking shows.
Already starting to plan next year's trip!
