Anthony, thank you so, so much for everything that you've done to captivate and engage all of us for the last year and so many odd months. I don't think that I've honestly ever been more inspired by a work or by a person, and I hope that this experience with a fabulous production and an unbelievable journey has been just as rewarding for you as it's been for me. Thank you.

Anthony, thank you for being so great to your fans, that quality is rare in this day and age. Also, thanks for speaking your mind and being yourself- Your example and openness has really helped a lot of people get through some rough times, myself included.

I rarely post on this board because I'm a shy little lurker, but you've gotten me to come out of my shell TWICE tonight....all in the name of "Rent."
Anthony--
Thank you so much for reprising your character for the movie. If you and the others hadn't done so, we would have lost *so much* in the translation to screen. You are the heart, the driving force that brings the show fully to life. "Rent" itself is Mark's show. He is the film maker, the one who sees it all. He is the true glue who tries to hold the "family" together. He is the hope, the spirit, the inspiration. Would "Rent" be the same if you hadn't originated the role of Mark? Would another actor go as deep into his psyche? Would he have been able to reprise him as well on film?
Thank you for being so true to Jonathan Larson's vision. Somewhere, he's smiling down on all of you for keeping his vision alive and true.
That's all that I wanted to say. After all, how often can you actually tell someone how much they have meant to you and impacted you? How often will people tell you the good things to your face? So again....thank you from a girl that you'll never meet..a girl you've had a huge impact on as an actor.
Anthony is just wonderful. You brought this movie to the fans and made us feel included and for that I am greatful. You are and wonderful wonderful person.

Thank you for passing the message of Jonathan from both the stage and now the movie. And thank you for making Mark a "real" person instead of a characiture (did I spell that right? Oh well) of someone "real." Just . . . thank you!!!

Anthony, thank you for putting the message first. Thank you for being so nice to the rabid fans. Thank you for always being yourself in a state of constant change and among others who want to change you. Thank you for everything you've ever done.
In short: I can't find a better way to express my gratitude than to say thank you so much for "never playin' the fame game." Here's to you, Anthony. Thanks again for everything.

Bump because I saw the movie for a third time today, and I am still taken by it. Thanks Anthony for taking the time to defend this project on these boards, and discuss it with fans. How many film stars do you know who would do that?
