I would like to take this thread to publicly thank Anthony Rapp for all that he did for Friends in Deed and for the fans of Rent last night, November 22nd at the special screening. Anthony, I had the privilege of talking to you last night at the reception and I promise that I will do as you asked me to do and take note of the different people going to Rent in the theaters where I live. You are an amazingly nice person and as a singer and actress I look up to you alot! Thanks you!

I'd like to thank him for sending me the info about the Interlochen screening because for some reason I could find nothing on my own, and for talking to me, Alex, Emily, and Liz for like...ever... For actually CONNECTING with the fans and reaching out, and genuinely having an interest in each and every one of them... For The Eyebrow!

Oh, and for having a good sense of humor about Inapropo Thoughts.

I havn't gotten the pleasure of meeting you Anthony, but thank you for all you have done for the fans. We all look up to you for being such an inspiring person with a heart of gold. So thank you.

I've said in your thread but I'll say it here again. Thanks for coming down and seeing the midnight showing at the Ziegfeld. god bless you for being so kind and patient with everyone. No words could describe what was going through my mind when you walked into our row and sat down. I've met you a few times, but just that one night with you, Tracie and Isabel was very magical

I'd like to thank you, Anthony, for being such an inspiration to everyone. One thing I know about Broadway actors is that they are so much more warm and open to people in general, and you are a perfect example of that. Not only are you an incredible talent, but you obviously have an incredible personality that we all admire.

I just want to thank Anthony for all of the time he has taken to include the fans in the entire Rent-stage-to-screen process. We wouldn't have known much of anything that was going on with the movie without him. Anthony, you are the kindest, warmest, most "real deal" person there is. Thank you for keeping Rent alive in our hearts for so long.

Thank you...

...for being so kind and welcoming each time I've met you. Despite my word fumbling, hand jittering, fidgeting, nervous self, you're always so understanding and wonderful.

...for the constant updates on this film, from the casting process, through to the present. I feel like I am truly a part of this film, like I was there on the set. I feel so close to this work, and want nothing more than for it to succeed. This is all because of you and your presence here on these boards over the last year.

...for spreading Rent's message to all who will listen.

...for your energy, and dedication toward your fans, and in all of your work.

...for making this year, and this film, the best experience I could ever ask for. I'll never forget it.

Anthony, I already thanked you last night after the screening with the Q & A at Symphony Space for being so amazing with fans and truly caring, but I just want to reiterate that. I also went to the Zigfield and you dealt with that "situation" so well. But honestly, the way you are reaching out to every fan and just so openly taking in EVERY comment... it is extraordinary and I know everyone can't thank you enough for that. It felt great to be able to talk about the movie with you and just can't express how much that meant to me to have that conversation with you. Wish I could have won that dinner with you... but after what I heard about what you like for dessert from Adam... maybe it is just as well I didn't win

I guess I'm just repeating what everyone else has said, but I wanted to put my thank you in. I admire you in so many ways, and I really look up to you. I have never gotten a chance to meet you but hopefully I will one day. thank you Anthony for being the HEART and SOUL of Rent. I feel like you were meant to be Rent's ambassador, doing everything you can to spread Jonathan's message. It is clear that this is something you love, and it's wonderful that now you get to share that love with all of us.
