Thank you to the wonderful ushers and house manager at the Barrymore who helped reseat me after the drunk next to me was leaning into me and swaying all over the place 10 mins into the show. My apologies to anyone around me and the cast for my quick exit to escape this awful encounter!
It's probably a weird post here, but I figure those folks don't get a lot of credit. I learned at intermission that the guy was escorted out, it belligerent and they had to threaten to call the police. Ugh.
Aside from that nonsense, Mr Sharp totally lived up to all expectations, as did the rest of the amazing cast! What a show...glad I took a chance on a non-musical for this brief visit.
