I just want to say I think it was great to see Tyne Daly wearing an AIDS ribbon on her gown Sunday night. It seems sad there was once a time when wearing a ribbon meant something I thought or maybe it was just a fashion statement. It was nice to see a celebrity who still knows why we wear them. It is great that there have been advances made in the fight against AIDS but we still all have to remember AIDS is still around. I would think the Broadway community would realize this especially with the amazing wonderful work they do with Broadway Cares. The only reason I am writing this is that I raise money for AIDS organizations I wear my AIDS Bracelet every day as a reminder of what I do and why. Hopefully there will come a day when the red ribbon will be a reminder of a time when people came together for a cause. Maybe I am rambling on, if so I apologize.

I noticed the ribbon pinned to her dress and thought it was nice that she had it on.

I meant to comment on that in my BEST DRESSED post. i voted her best dressed on the basis of her ribbon...i just got too caught up in cynthia nixon's hair.
