Carolee Carmello was absolutely, postively phenomenal in her performance of Donna when I saw the show a few weeks ago. Brought down the house with each song.

Once again, the problem is that Broadway people do not knwo how to sing pop music. MAMMA MIA! as great a show as it is, is the best example of this.

Hmm. I am not a fan of the show but I do love Carolee. Just wondering as to the critisim regarding the voices not sounding pop enough... It is a BROADWAY show after all isn't it? it is MUSICAL COMEDY after all isn't it? I would think if you wanted them to sound like Abba you could just put a record on. I mean..they are just using the Abba songs .
